County Commission Scholarship Program
In 1996 the County Commission established a Scholarship Fund. Funding for
these scholarships comes from personal contributions each commissioner makes to
the Scholarship Fund.
One senior from Anderson County High School, Clinton
High School and Oak Ridge High School is awarded a $500.00 scholarship. Students
are selected by the guidance personnel and principals at each school and are
selected on the basis of need and community achievements. Scholarship certificates are presented by the Commissioners to each student at their Award Day ceremony.
