The Zoning and Codes Enforcement Department is responsible for building code enforcement, community planning, zoning and environmental code enforcement.  This Department is responsible for the supervision of all construction projects undertaken by the county and when needed, presents testimony before the County Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. 

Sarah Booher is the Anderson County Staff Planner. She is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. to assist citizens and developers in matters concerning rezoning, subdivision of property and large scale developments.
