The
Anderson County Board of Commissioners will fill the vacancy of County
Commissioner representing District 3 at the April 19, 2010 quarterly session
starting at 9:30 a.m. in room 312 of the Anderson County Courthouse, 100 N.
Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
District 3
represents Andersonville, Clinch Valley, Fairview and Norris precincts. The
County Commission Office will be accepting resumes for consideration in

THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ANDERSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all
County Commissioners and residents of Anderson County, Tennessee, and to all
other persons who might be interested, that open, public, regular meetings
of the Anderson County Board of County Commissioners during the 2010 year
will be held on the third Monday of each month with exceptions as follows:
1) Due to the observance
of the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. on the third Monday in January
2010, the regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 starting
at 9:30 A.M
2) Due to the observance
of Presidents Day on the third Monday in February 2010, the regular meeting
will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 starting at 6:30 P.M
The April, July and October
meetings will be held on the third Monday beginning at 9:30 A.M.; and on the
third Monday of all other months at 6:30 P.M.

The Anderson County Board of Commissioners will hold a
public hearing at 6:00 p.m. December 17, 2007 in room 312 of the Anderson
County Courthouse, 100 N. Main Street, Clinton, TN, to discuss amendments to
the Zoning Resolution and the Zoning Map.
In summary, the amendments include the addition of
requirements for Joint Permanent Easements (JPE) which allows up to four
parcels to be served by a joint permanent easement constructed to standards
defined in the resolution. The lots can not be further subdivided and the
JPE will not be taken into the County highway system. There are requirements
for a property owner’s association (POA) to be formed and maintenance costs
to be shared equally by the POA.
Additionally, section 6.5.B. was revised to resolve
conflicting language based on the JPE requirements and section 6.5.E. was
deleted to resolve conflicting language with the JPE requirements. Finally,
the entire document was re-indexed for ease of understanding. The Anderson
County Zoning Map has been updated it to show new city boundaries resulting
from annexation as well as rezoning of some parcels within the county since
the last revision of the map.
The entire document and map is available for review in
the Public Works Office located in Room 127 of the Anderson County
Courthouse Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00
P.M.

Anderson County Constable
District 2 includes the following voting precincts: Andersonville,

T.C.A. § 8-10-102 (a)(2) to qualify for election or appointment to the
office of constable, a person shall:

(a) The county legislative body
may, at its January term of each year, appoint (3) householders or
freeholders, residents of the county, of lawful age, to act as jail
inspectors for the ensuing year, or the court may appoint such inspectors at
any other time to act for a shorter period.
(b) The county mayor shall be an
ex officio inspector of the jail in each county.
(c) It is the duty of the

Commissioners does hereby amend the Anderson County Zoning Map by rezoning a
portion of the property further described as Tax Map 87, Parcel 198.04 from
C-1 Commercial District to R-1 Residential District as presented on the map
provided the commission on this day.
This
resolution shall take effect immediately after its notification and passage,
the public welfare requiring it.

The Anderson
County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public hearing at 9:00 a.m., April
17, 2006 in Room 312 of the Anderson County Courthouse, 100 North Main
Street, Clinton, Tennessee, a request for rezoning of the following
properties from C-1 to R-1. The properties are located at 2620 Andersonville
Hwy, Clinton, and can be further described as a portion of Anderson County

Legal Notice to Fill Vacancy
Due to the death of County Commissioner David O. Bolling,
representing District Two, the Anderson County Board of Commissioners have
placed the filling of this vacancy on the March 20, 2006 regular meeting
agenda, 6:30 p.m. in room 312 of the Anderson County Courthouse.
The County Commission Office will be accepting resumes' for
the Nominating Committee's consideration in filling the un-expired term of
County Commissioner, District Two, term ending August 31, 2006.
Qualifications: T.C.A.
§5-5-102(b) Members shall reside within and be qualified voters of the
districts which they represent.
District Two includes the
following voting precincts: Blockhouse Valley, Clinton, North Clinton and
Glen Alpine precincts.
The deadline for filling a
resume' will be Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at noon, in the County Commission

Notice of Regular Meetings of the Board of County
Commissioners of Anderson County, Tennessee
NOTICE IS
HEREBY GIVEN to all County Commissioners and residents of Anderson
County, Tennessee, and to all other persons who might be interested, that
open, public, regular meetings of the Anderson County Board of County
Commissioners during the 2006 year will be held on the third Monday of each
month, except due to the observance of the birthday of Martin Luther King,
Jr., on the third Monday in January 2006, the regular meeting will be held
on Tuesday, January 17, 2006.
The January,
April, July, and October meetings will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m.; and
on the third Monday of all other months at 6:30 p.m.
All meetings
will be held at the regular meeting place of the Board, at the Anderson
County Courthouse in Clinton, Tennessee. There will be considered at such
meetings any matter which may properly come before the Board at regular
scheduled meetings.
