Non-Profit Funding Policy
1. No organization can receive more than $5,000.
2. All
non-profits must provide proof of 501(c)3 status for the most recent year prior
to the date of application.
3. Funds
will be provided only to an organization that perform countywide functions of
government (i.e. health, legal, education, public safety).
4. Applicants must complete the Application for
County Funds.
5.
Organizations must list a specific project (or projects) for which the funds
will be used.
6.
Applications must be typed or computer generated. Handwritten applications will
not be accepted.
7. Any
in-kind services or other county funding will disqualify the applicant from
receiving non-profit funding.
8. There will be no exceptions to the application
deadline.
9. Organizations that have not picked up funds within 30 days from
date of notification by return receipt letter will forfeit funds. Forfeited
funds will return to the non-profit balance. Those funds can be re-allocated at
the discretion of the Non-Profit Committee anytime during the year. Any funds
not allocated will be rolled over to the next fiscal year for non-profit
distribution.
